An MRI scan is one of the most sophisticated diagnostic tools available to help referring clinician understand the cause of a particular health issue.
Choosing an MRI facility can be confusing! What machine is best? What questions should I ask? What does a 1.5T even mean?
Dove MRI offer best facilities for the patients. We provide world class services and the very best MRI experience near to your place.
We use powerfully advanced Siemens MAGNETOM Avanto 18 channel Tim + DOT + Tim CT technology MRI machines. This ensures excellent imaging performance and outstanding image quality for any application, in any body region.
We have some of the most experienced staff and radiologists. They can make you comfortable and confident that you are at the right place.
Leading With MAGNETOM, the definitive portfolio for MRI from Siemens provides leading MRI technology, software, scanners, and applications.
MRI scanning is a powerful medical diagnostic tool that uses a strong magnet to produce high-quality images in different planes. Magnetic resonance imaging uses non-ionising radiation for imaging, unlike x-rays which uses x-ray radiation.
The human body is largely made of water molecules with hydrogen and oxygen atoms. At the center of each atom lies an even smaller particle called a proton, which is sensitive to any magnetic field. Normally the water molecules in the body are randomly aligned, but upon entering an MRI scanner, the magnetic field causes the body's water molecules to align uniformly in one direction. The gradient amplifiers then deliver a series of short RF pulses, which causes the hydrogen atoms to alter their alignment. When the RF pulse is switched off, the hydrogen atoms relax back to their original state and in the process give out a weak signal. The patient cannot feel these changes, but the sensitive coils placed on the patient, can pick up these signals. These are amplified and then processed by special computer-based image processing algorithms to create detailed sectional images of the body for the Radiologist to interpret.

Due to the powerful magnetic force involved in producing an MRI scan, certain individuals will not be scanned. You must not have an MRI scan if you have:
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging (NMRI), or Magnetic Resonance Tomography (MRT) is a medical imaging technique used in radiology to investigate the anatomy and physiology of the body in both health and disease. MRI scanners use magnetic fields and radio waves to form images of the body. The technique is widely used in hospitals for medical diagnosis, staging of disease and follow-up without exposure to ionizing radiation.
What is MRI?
Why would I need an MRI scan?
What can be diagnosed by an MRI scan?
Who can't have an MRI scan?
How an MRI works?
3T MRI: the newest and most powerful?
Why 1.5T is used in medical imaging?
A true open MRI vs. wide-bore MRI
A new way to look at MRI
There are a wide variety of pathologies for which an MRI scan would be of diagnostic and therapeutic value
When does a patient require an MRI scan? Which patients are unable to have an MRI scan?
Dove MRI has chosen 1.5T MRI scanners over other MRI units of 3T/0.35T strength, because this offers the best image quality in all body regions. Magnet strength is only one factor in MRI. Other factors that are equally important are number of channels, gradients & magnet homogeneity.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the head uses a powerful magnetic field, radio waves and a computer to produce detailed pictures of the brain and other cranial structures that are clearer and more detailed than other imaging methods
MRI uses a large magnet and radio waves to look at organs and structures inside your body. Health care professionals use MRI scans to diagnose a variety of conditions, from torn ligaments to tumors. MRIs are very useful for examining the brain and spinal cord.
MAGNETOM Avanto, A Tim+Dot System is the landmark in 1.5T imaging due to Tim technology in combination with a dramatic reduction in acoustic noise, and a comprehensive application range up to 205 cm whole-body imaging.
